Upward Bound Program Website

The site I chose to look at was that of the Upward Bound Program. Overall, I was very impressed with all the aspects that the website had to offer. I really appreciated the organization of the website. The first thing that came to my attention when first viewing the page was that, no matter what sub-section I looked at, the contact information always available on the side. On the homepage were links that explained what the upward bound program was and what there purpose was. From there, I could look at how to apply, resources and programs they had to offer, past and upcoming events, and alumni information. The categories were simple making it easy for someone, who was looking for something in particular, to quickly find what they needed. The site background was simple but also appealing. They used pictures from the Upward Bound Program to personalize it but the site still looked official. They also had some videos that showed what the people involved in the program thought about it. I think the creator of this website did an excellent job on organizing this website. It is very easy to browse around and simple to find particular things. It also does an excellent job on covering all the things one would need to know about this program. I will definitely be using this as an example for making my own website.
